Ever since its opening, Monica’s Restaurant has continued to redefine itself. Through the years Monica’s Restaurant has grown. In 1998 answering to the needs of their growing clientele Monica’s Restaurant has moved from its original location on 67 Prince Street -where now houses Trattoria di Monica- to a larger location on 143 Richmond Street. After a few months of major renovations, Monica’s Restaurant has expanded its capacity, incorporated a wine bar area with additional seating and has obtained a full liquor license to better serve its guests.

Located on the Freedom Trail, in the heart of the North End of Boston , Vinoteca di Monica is the result of Monica’s Restaurant evolution and its chef‘s passion for the Italian culture and the big role food and wine plays in its preservation.

Specializing in rustic regional Italian cuisine, Chef Jorge Mendoza-Iturralde incorporates international techniques and ingrendients to traditional recipes, adding a contemporary touch to old world classics.
